A tenet is an opinion, principle or doctrine which a person holds or
maintains as true.
The Taekwondo Tenets Are:

- Integrity
- Perseverance
- Self-Control
- Indomitable Spirit

- Fidelity to parents
- Marital fidelity
- Brotherhood

- Avoid killing living things

- To know the truth
- To demonstrate humbleness
- To show true honesty from the heart
- To maintain a clear and clean conscience
- To know what is right from wrong
- To practice humanity with ultimate morality
- To live by a code of moral ethics
- Perseverance
- Patience, Determination, and Persistence
- To always finish what you have started
- responsibility and freedom makes a man
- To understand your limits and learn to conquer those
limitations within the realm of reality
